Font-Romeu sits at 1,650 m in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees: a playground where athletes train for biathlon, trail running and skiing, and where you gather at the chalet in the evening. Here are the group activities we recommend, tried and tested with corporate teams.
1. Biathlon taster, the signature team building
.22 LR rifle shooting on the 50 m range at the stade Germans-Fourcade, with Biathlon Inside, run by Myrtille Bègue, IBU world champion. 2. Hiking and nature
The Museum without walls (over forty sculptures in the forest, on foot from the resort), Lac des Bouillouses at the foot of the Carlit, or the Petit Canada loop along the Têt: easy outings that put everyone on the same level. In autumn, the deer rut and golden larches are highlights (see Font-Romeu in autumn).
3. Skiing and snowshoeing in winter
The free ski bus stops 2 minutes' walk from the chalet and runs up to the Airelles gondola: half a day on the slopes between two work sessions. Cheaper equipment rental with our Skiset discount codes.
4. At the chalet, in the evening
Pool, table football or darts tournaments, table tennis in the garage, PS5, a film night on the 130-inch screen, then the 6-seat hot tub facing the mountains. The table for 18 and the professional kitchen are perfect for a cooking workshop or a big shared dinner.
