- Run: the 400 m athletics track at the Colette-Besson stadium at the CNEA, and the trails of La Calme and Pyrénées 2000 (around 2,100 m) for trail running and intervals.
- At the chalet: a closed garage to store bikes, a boot dryer for 18 pairs, a hot tub for recovery and a large table for team meals.
Coach's tip: ease off the intensity for the first few days while you adjust to the altitude, and drink plenty – the air is dry.
